SUMMER 2021 ANNONCEMENT

We are so excited to announce what we are planning for this upcoming summer!!

Last summer was the first time ever ran as a Day Camp. Our plan right now is to do the exact same thing this summer.
We will plan to run Day Camps for kids ages 6-17. We will run 2 weeks of camp for kids ages 6-8, (Young Campers), 4 weeks of camp for kids ages 8-12 (Junior), a Junior Teen week for youth 12-14, and a Teen Week for youth ages 13-17.

We will run 2 different types of camps at the same time: Regular Day Camp and Horse Day Camp.
Regular Day Camp will include: RC cars, archery, pellet guns, crafts, outdoor games, campfires, water games, chapel, small group time and much more

Horse Day Camps will include: Arena rides, trail rides, horse theory, chapel, and small group times
We offer different levels of Horse Camp.

Beginner Horse Day Camp  is aimed toward kids ages 8-12 who have little to no experience with horses or , while our Advance Horse Day Camps focus on more advanced riding and the campers must be able to trot comfortably and confidently with no help in order to be a part of this level.

We will also be offering camps aimed at training and discipling youth.

Our Wranglers in Training program is aimed at teens aged 14-17 who want to learn what being a wrangler at camp is all about. Days will be filled with learning how to teach kids in our horsemanship program, how to do the chores that are needing done around the stables, some riding time, chapel times, and much more.

Our Teen Discipleship program will be a 2 week program that is again aimed at teens aged 14-17 and will focus on helping them grow closer to God. The week will involve in class learning from various speakers, team building time, in class and practical learning of the different roles at camp, and many great times of fellowship.

We make sure to divide our camps into small groups in order to keep safe, but also so that our ratio of camper to summer team member stays low. We want this to be the best experience for every camper.

Drop off times for all camps will be between 8:30-9:00am and pickup times will be between 5:00-5:15pm for our Young Campers and Junior Camps, and between 9:00-9:15pm for our Junior Teen and Teen Camps (except for Fridays when pick up will be between 5:00-5:15).

We will be opening Registration for all of our camps on February 22 @ 9:00am. A $50 deposit will be needed in order to secure a spot in one of our camps.

This is our plan…. and we know from this past year that plans can change all of a sudden. We want to make sure we offer safe programming that is in line with public health best practices. We will follow all health guidelines and restrictions that are in place at the time. Therefore, as regulations change, changes may occur to these plans. Our goal though is to offer programming the safest and best way that we can.

We look forward to having you join us this summer at DBC.

DBC COVID Update April 2020

Greetings from Dauphin Bible Camp,

What an interesting time we find ourselves in. However, we know when everything seems out of control, our God is still present and powerful and we can trust Him.

As a camp we have not been immune to the effects of the rise of the COVID-19 virus. We are uncertain of how our spring season will look, as this is usually the time of year when camp begins to have people attending our site, but we continue to do our part by practicing physical distancing while preparing our site.

We are still hopeful that we will be able to run Summer Camp 2020 as planned. We continue to receive registrations and have now made the decision to not require the $50 to reserve your spot for the summer. We encourage you to register soon to ensure you are able to sign up for your desired dates. As this is a constantly changing situation we continue to monitor it closely. We are committed to keeping you updated as we learn more.

We have updated our Refund Policy during this time.  A full refund will be issued to any camper who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to others who have. In addition, if a week of camp has to be cancelled due to a directive of the local health, a full refund will be issued.

It is our sincere hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and are able to enjoy your time together in these unique and unusual circumstances.

If you have any questions, concerns, or even just need someone to talk to please do not hesitate to contact us.

The best contact at this current time is by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. as we are not currently working in the office. If you want to leave a message on our phone, we will be periodically checking our messages. Our phone number is (204)-638-5568.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Sincerely,
Andrew Sevigny

One Hope Canada Statement re. Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the information quickly changing concerning COVID-19 protocols, we ask you to contact us directly for guidance in relation to any spring booking or summer programs. We are in close communication with public health authorities and will make adjustments as additional COVID-19 guidance is provided.

Because camp happens in close communities, we have always taken great care to develop and maintain disease management practices to address a variety of communicable diseases, both common and rare. We believe that prevention is one of the best lines of defense and regularly remind campers of the importance of good hygiene and sanitation practices.

As an extra precaution, our camps are installing additional hygiene stations and will undergo aggressive daily cleaning and disinfecting practices to minimize the spread of disease. We are updating these screening, cleaning and disinfection policies to mirror current best practices recommended by public health authorities.

In order to accommodate the concerns of families, we have updated our refund policy. A full refund will be issued to any camper who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to others who have. In addition, if a week of camp has to be cancelled due to a directive of the local health, a full refund will be issued.

Families of registered campers will be updated of any changes or new information. In the meantime, if you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at (204) 638-5568.
