Horse Club is for students who want to learn more about horse care, theory, training, and showing. Our riding lessons focus on better riding skills, summer camp is to have fun riding, and club is to learn more about horses and build friendships with other kids who like horses. The club runs one season from November till January, and a second season from February till April. The club is for kids aged 6 to 17. Kids younger than 6 can sign up if their parent stays with them during events. Tuesday evening events are indoors from 6:00 – 7:30 at the camp dining hall. Saturday events are outdoors from 1:00 – 4:00 at the barn. Our curriculum is based off the Certified Horsemanship Association Composite Manuel that can be purchased for $60. We use the book during our events and students can choose to read the pages ahead of time but it is not required.
